ABOUT THE ARTIST: Sandra Smit (Badenhorst) is a contemporary South African artist who studied Fine Arts, in particular, Painting and Graphic Design. She started her painting career as a Wildlife artist, but themes now include landscapes, as well as still lifes. She taught Art at various secondary schools in Gauteng and has been a fulltime artist since 2017. She has participated in group exhibitions and has sold many paintings to overseas clients over the years.
